Luxi Update

Hi Everyone,

We're on track to have all manufacture complete by the start of June. The diffusion dome tooling is complete, and the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4(S) clips are wrapping up next week. The machined (ABS) versions are shipping on May 20th.

Once the production is complete we'll be getting them shipped to us, then to you. We looked into having them ship direct to you from the manufacturer to expedite the process, but that turned out to be impossible. Instead we're going to have them packaged, put into mailers, addressed and labelled by the manufacturer, so all we have to do when they get here is put postage on them and drop them in the post. Once they get here we reckon we can do that in a couple of days (and nights).

Because we're getting them packaged for fulfillment by the manufacturer, and because we had such an overwhelming response, getting them airfreighted to us is out of the question. Even though they're pretty small, once they're packaged and in mailers, 6,000 Luxis ends up being a truckload. Actually two truckloads. So they’re coming to us from the manufacturer via surface freight. This will take a couple weeks.

We are doing everything we can to get your Luxis to you as soon as possible. Thanks again for funding this project and enabling it to happen. They are coming!!
