One Millions Lights and HELIO are Providing Light in Cambodia

We at Makers4Good love to share news of our HELIO light, out and about in the world, making life a little brighter for those in need. Today we are pleased to share this update of HELIO being distributed to others in Cambodia with a little help from our longstanding NPO partner, One Million Lights. The Sovann Komar Orphanage in Phnom Penh was the first receive a delivery of our lights. Makers4Good is excited to announce our newest non-profit partner, Let There Be Light International, advocates for solar lighting as a tool to eliminate poverty and health issues in a sustainable, replicable model. Let There Be Light International addresses the basic lighting needs of vulnerable off-grid communities in sub-Saharan Africa. New Nonprofit Partner: Rivers & Lands Conservancy

Makers4Good is excited to announce our newest non-profit partner, Rivers & Lands Conservancy (RLC): caretakers of Southern California’s natural, wild and open spaces since 1989. During their nearly 30-year history, RLC has been instrumental in acquiring and preserving over 11,000 acres of open space. They manage conserved lands for public benefit by protecting, enhancing, and restoring natural resources. Blue Water Baltimore fills a unique role in the Baltimore area as an organization that uses a holistic set of programs to meet the great challenges of improving water quality.
